In Storie sospese, il regista del buon Isole (film del 2011 con Asia Argento) lancia effettivamente dei messaggi in quella direzione, facendo vedere la sorte che tocca agli abitanti, sfollati dalle case e poco supportati dalle amministrazioni locali proprio per i cosiddetti interessi.
