Betty è la portentosa Renée Zellweger, che decide di "essere" l'ex-fidanzata dell'eroe della soap, scappa dal Kansas e arriva a Los Angeles dove, di equivoco in equivoco, incontra e in qualche modo seduce l'attore dei suoi sogni. Senza sapere che ha alle costole i killer (Morgan Freeman e Chris Rock), un padre e un figlio non molto affiatati... Con tante figure divise fra orrore e idiozia, è inevitabile pensare ai Coen e a Tarantino.
Da geht es von Anfang an richtig zur Sache, und die Stunts und Animationen finde ich recht überzeugend. Wesley Snipes gibt den Blade gewohnt cool, da verzieht sich keine Miene, an manchen Stellen wirkt es fast gelangweilt. Ist mir in den ersten beiden Teilen nicht so aufgefallen, macht vielleicht auch der Kontrast zu Ryan Reynolds aus, der ständig Sprüche reißt. Am heißesten ist eindeutig Dominic Purcell als Dracula, der sich als Krieger so wohltuend von der ansonsten ziemlich dekadenten Schar von Vampiren abhebt. Damit bin ich dann auch bei der Kritik: Vakuumverpackte Menschen im Koma als Vorratslager, aber natürlich vollständig bekleidet eingeschweißt, Hunde die zum Spaß mit Vampirgenen mutiert wurden, eine Obervampirin die herumläuft als hätte sie einen Stock im Hintern und auch sonst wenig überzeugend ist...
